They call this Democracy?

Congress doesn't have the faintest idea what they are voting for!

They impose laws on you and me without even reading the bills. They hand out your tax dollars countless special interests. They hand out special privileges to anyone with a good lobbyist or a fat campaign contribution. They make laws against your freedom to pander to fear-mongering demagogues.

If you fail to report your income you can't say "oops I didn't know it was in there".

If you try to get on a plane with a pair of scissors you can't say "oops I didn't know it was in there".

If you run a business and a suspicious payment shows up in your records you can't say "oops I didn't know it was in there".

This is the most basic premise of good government. Let's make them read the bills.
